Course outlines-DAB TRAINING LIMITED
The following is a short outline of our courses.
All courses can be conducted on your site to reduce your transportation and time costs.
Health and Safety, Environmental and Personal Development/Management courses:
All run to a full day of seven hours and a half day of three and a half hours.
All courses will be certificated and supporting notes/handouts or training booklets will be provided.
All training aids and equipment will be provided by us.
The ideal course maximum is twelve learners but larger groups can be accommodated.
First Aid courses:
One day Emergency First Aid at Work (minimum of 6 hours)
Two day Paediatric First Aid (minimum of 12 hours)
Three day First Aid at Work (minimum of 18 hours, ideally on consecutive days but this can be adapted to suite your needs)
Two day First Aid at Work refresher (minimum of 12 hours)
One day CPR and AED (minimum of 6 hours)
All First Aid courses will be certificated and training booklets will be issued at the start of each course.
All course accreditation lasts for 3 years and although annual refresher training is not mandatory it is advised that staff attend a 3 hour refresher session each year due to skill fade.
The maximum amount of learners is set at 12 however, larger courses can be accommodated but learning provision must not exceed the ratio of 1 trainer to 12 learners (extra trainer's can be provided).
All training aids and equipment will be provided by us.
Mental Health awareness courses:
The level one course is a short half day introduction course (approximately 3 hours)
The level two “Mental Health First Aider” course (minimum of 6 hours)
The level three “Supervising for Mental Health” (minimum of 12 hours)
The ideal course maximum is twelve learners but larger groups (Up to 16) can be accommodated.
All courses will be certificated and training booklets will be issued at the start of each course.
All course accreditation lasts for 3 years after which staff will be invited back for another full course however, annual refresher training is advisable.
